Flawless and Angry

So following a night of painting I got the clone son of Fulgrim has been painted and is ready to lead the Flawless Host.

The model was a joy to put together and the arms are from the Grey Knight Terminator set. The next set of models I have got to get is one set of Dark Eldar Wyches and I will mash these together with a tactical squad of Space Marines to make my Possessed, here's hoping that they get better in the next edition.

Above are the start of my preparation for the new Chaos Legions book that is rumoured to be coming soon.
I am working on an Emperors' Children successor called the Flawless Host
These are converted from Grey Knights and Death Company :-)

Below is the model that is going to lead them a Clone Son of Fulgrim

I am going to use him as a Chaos Lord with Terminator Armour who still tries to protect mankind, he knows that to do this he must tempt them away from the worship of the Emperor which is blinding them from their potential, he uses Slaanesh to achieve this. Hopefully by the end of the weekend he will be painted.

Chilling and relaxing

Nothing much has been happening on the gaming table for the last couple of weeks. There are a couple of reasons for this;

1. Bank Holiday weekend, day off work and Monday is the day the gaming club meets
2. Mate wanted to go down the pub to be fair most of the conversation was about warhammer 40k :-)
3. Back went the other week and did not feel up to it to be fair, codine is the only way to fly

To be fair this has given me some time to put some paint on some models,
I also found after the last store in town that started to sell GW closed down one of the oldest stores in town has started (they are the most sedate bookshop in the world as well and, get this, they also sell Windsor & Newton brushes) so to try and keep them going I bought the Death Company boxed set.
Lovely box and with some bits box magic I made some conversions will be putting up some pics this week.

Blood Bowl and other Things

So the sun has decided to poke its head out of the clouds for five seconds and sports season has started and in the world of miniatures there is only one real sport "Blood Bowl". So my human team has come out of the foam and took on the Norse and got kerb stomped luckily only one dead man so far.

So I decided to number them properly and then painted my ogre or bear as I prefer the model also picked up Zara the Slayer who might just become a Blitzer as the model is very nice :-)

Also last night I decided to paint my version of a starving vampire made with a dark eldar head and a new GW Black Knight. I want him to be on a ghostly steed so am quite happy with him. He is seen terrorising a load of nappy light horse.

Back on it

Right back on it found the Blog again. Woo ;-)

So been busy with commission work and will be putting up pictures and after that have put two Cygnar light warjacks into the dettol to strip as i want to repaint. Expect more blogs soon!

Right. With all the painting things have not been going good on the gaming table.

Took part in a Warmachine Hordes Tourney and came joint last :-(

Also finished painting all the men I need for my Grey Knights army would like to have one army at the moment got about three Eldar, Grey Knights and Deathwatch. So should trim that down also will be trying to get rid of most of my circle stuff while keeping a bit for demos.

Also been painting historical and got to look at ways to play these.

Progress with the Warhammer Fantasy Chaos army is slow going and started Estilia but too many models and also a friend wants to try Infinity (low model count and good combat system) and I already have an army :-)

Right, due to having a lack of time recently (or is that motivation) I have not updated the site so here goes.

Flames stuff is not really happening
Fantasy is either Warriors of Chaos or Estilia
40K is Deathwatch using Blood Angels (after listening to Deepstrike radio podcast) or Grey Knights as well as random Skirmish games

Also worked on a co-op werewolf game so thinking of rules for that either LotR or warhammer skirmish

Have got a Eldar army which I will either paint or resurrect as Dark Eldar

And also want to try some thing with Haitian Legends of the High Seas but would like to see how much I can get painted.

Will hopefully be taking the Deathwatch out tomorrow so praying to the dice gods.
